Refund policy
1. Order Accuracy & Quality Guarantee
If there is an issue with your order, we want to make it right. Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if:

Your order arrived damaged,

A product is missing,
To help us resolve the issue quickly, please email hello@cakeslice.ca within 24 hours of delivery, including:

A brief description of the issue

Clear photos of the product and packaging
2. Refunds & Replacements
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns. However, we may offer one of the following solutions, depending on the situation:

Replacement of the product

Store credit
-
Partial or full refund (approved on a case-by-case basis)
Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 3–7 business days after approval.
Wildlife & Animal Damage
Once an order has been delivered, we are not responsible for damage caused by wildlife, pets, or other animals. This includes but is not limited to squirrels, birds, raccoons, or similar animals. Orders damaged or removed by wildlife after delivery are not eligible for replacement or refund.
3. Order Cancellations
Because we prepare orders in advance, cancellations must follow these guidelines:

Standard items (cake slices, ready-made cakes):
Cancellations are accepted within 2 hours of placing your order. -
Custom cakes or large orders:
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
After this time, the preparation may have already begun, so refunds may not be possible.
4. Delivery Issues
We are not responsible for:

Incorrect delivery information provided by the customer

Deliveries left at the door that are damaged due to weather, pets, theft, or delay in retrieval

Courier delays beyond our control (traffic, weather, road closures)
However, we will always try our best to assist you if a delivery issue arises.
5. Allergy & Dietary Disclaimer
Please review all product descriptions carefully before purchasing. While we offer some dietary-friendly options, all of our products are prepared in a facility that may handle: nuts, dairy, gluten, soy, and eggs.
We cannot offer refunds for reactions related to allergens not disclosed to us.
